Casa Carabeo Del Mar, is a traditional early 18th century town house full of character overlooking the sea , situated right in the heart of Old Nerja town close to The Balcon de Europa on the most famous & stunning front line ‘Carabeo Street’.
Carabeo Street is the oldest & most beautiful front line street in Nerja just a few moments walk to the several local beaches & impressive town square. All images shown here are within close proximity to the house.
The house, divided into 2 exquisite apartments has preserved its early 18th century traditional Andalucian style, within a beautiful historic town with its signature whitewashed buildings & the impressive 17th century church of El Salvador at its centre.
The Balcon de Europa Promenade is a favourite attraction, on one side flanked by lovely arches with the most stunning view of the Mediterranean, on the other by the many different Terraced bars & restaurants….many offering drinks with free traditional tapas.
There are many wonderful places to visit including the breath taking Nerja Caves full of ancient stalactites where concerts are often held in the atmospheric main cave chamber. If your passion is walking, then there are wonderful beach walkways & pathways to the foothills of Sierra Almijara.

The Carabeo beach is just a moment’s walk away from the house & the Burrianna beach, famous for its informal relaxing beachfront restaurants, offering a variety of sea food & giant paellas freshly cooked on open wood fires. By night there are Flamenco dancers & musicians to entertain you on the Balcon & numerous traditional Fiestas throughout the year.
A combination of unique factors means Nerja enjoys the best Mediterranean micro- climate… the surrounding mountains protecting it from strong winds & the influence of the sea making for milder temperatures during the winter months.
